Retrofit Street Light Controller | IoT Efficient energy management

TATA Communications LoRa^® based street light controller enables organisations and communities to create energy efficient smart environments. The device allows enterprises and authorities to reduce their environmental impact by orchestrating individual street lights remotely, through a connected network of device, cloud based IoT platform and LoRaWAN^®enabled IoT network. The controller can be retrofit to turn any existent street light with dimming driver into a smart light.

Each integrated solution will contain a device (as in the picture), along with a free 3 month subscription to Tata Communications' IoT Network enabled by LoRaWAN® our proprietary IoT platform and a compatible application all bundled together to give the user the complete IoT package.

Key Features

Individual monitoring and control The device supports Individual Light Monitoring (ILM). This allows the user to monitor and orchestrate each individual street light to turn on/off, dim the lights to several intensities and track power consumption

Secure communications All device communication is secure via encryption at device, network and application layer and leverages our nation wide LoRaWAN^® connectivity

Effective management in real time The NEMA ILM controller sends alerts in cases of lamp failure, voltage fluctuation, mains failure and low power factor over the secure LoRaWAN^® communications

Smart upgrade with surge protection The Retrofit controller connects to any non NEMA street light with dimming driver and converts street lights to smart lights. It is designed to create minimal corrosive impact with surge protection up to 10 KV
