- Gas Metering
The smart gas module allows to upgrade existing meters and fits into most OEM meters in India such as Raychem RPG, Sensus, Elster, AEM, Itron. The device communicates over Tata Communications LoRaWAN® and its cloud-based application can integrate with third-party billing and ERP systems through a wide range of APIs. The cloud-based web application gathers data and presents to enterprises on a central dashboard. This stream of information generates consumer insights on gas consumption patterns and behaviour.
Each integrated solution will contain a device, along with a free 3 month subscription to Tata Communications' IoT Network enabled by LoRaWAN®, our proprietary IoT platform and a compatible application all bundled together to give the user the complete IoT package.
The Smart metering application enables monitoring of all smart meters on a GUI based dashboard with location based visibility to each meter. It also helps the user monitor the battery health of each device. The user can get notified with automated alerts and notification as a trigger to any custom rules defined by customer, fetch reports related to flow, tampering and location of the water meter and packet reports with time stamp. These consumptions can be exported from the dashboard and integrated to third party ERP applications through APIs.
